Super HOT Chevy SUNDAY.
Well what can I say, but 10 brave members, no not stupid, insane or nuts, but brave members took their cars to the Super Chevy Sunday in the 44.7  degree heat. (the hottest Jan temp. in 40 yrs.)
We were all absolutely gobsmacked when Tom (“is it going to rain”) Stanef turned up. I did ask if he was not afraid the paint might fade.
Numbers were down but the quality of cars weren’t. Part time member Tom took first prize for the Corvettes with good old KB taking second prize. I did see KB walking back to his car with the 1st prize trophy as we heard a rumour that Tom paid $20 to beat KB.
It was a hot day but Barb kept us cool with her spray bottle of ice water, mainly when you weren’t expecting to get hit, but none of us there would have missed it.
Well done guys, you did the club proud by supporting the other clubs.
