This year for the Easter run I thought we would try something a bit different, and that was a family day outing. We met at Hungry Jacks for the trip up the freeway to the Monarto Open Range Zoo.
In all we had 31 people join us for the Corvette family day outing.
After Larry finding & claiming the best shady possie for the club, we then headed for the bus & the tour around the zoo. Now we did see some amazing sights & animals, but Goof was truly amazed with the length & what the giraffe could do with it's tongue. There were plenty of animals to see & a good commentary. After the tour it was time for the picnic lunch,(gourmet that is),with chocolate
Easter Bunnies for the kids (as if they weren't hypo enough already) & plenty of chocolate eggs for the big kids. It was very easy to spend the day wandering around the zoo with some entertainment provided by various animals on display.
